“Nothing needs to be fixed. Everything is unfolding perfectly. So, when you stand in your now, accepting that all is well, then from that vibration you become surrounded by more and more evidence that all is well.”
-Abraham-Hicks

Sometimes life is uncomfortable, even painful. Sometimes we struggle and feel like we need to fix the parts of ourselves that feel broken. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were some kind of spiritual repair shop where we could drop off our egos and come back in a week to bring home a newly refurbished, fixed self?

Sounds great right? Well, maybe there is...

OK, let’s look a little more closely at the form-list from God’s Repair Shop and what it means.

I understand that it is my own perceptions about things that create struggle and pain in my life.

When we are in pain, struggling emotionally, most of us want to fix what we perceive as our broken selves. But are we actually broken? Do we need fixing? Or is this a soul-level opportunity for expansion signaling a need for a change in perception?

I understand that I make it hard for myself when I take too much responsibility for the aspects of my life which feel broken by thinking it is my job to fix them.

As we encounter discomfort in our lives, we often assume that it is up to us to make it better and fix it. After all, ego thinks, who else is going to do it? But that is like putting the cart before the horse. We’ll go nowhere fast. The more we try to fix what we think is broken, the more broken it feels. Our egos just aren’t equipped for the job.

I acknowledge that I am ready to make a different choice.

The first step to change is awareness. We acknowledge that when we are in pain and discomfort, we have the opportunity for soul-growth. We have the opportunity to make a different choice.

I acknowledge that I don’t have to know how to do that.

The beauty of this is, we don’t have to know how or what to change  because God knows what needs to be done. We make the choice to turn the whole situation over to God. We let go of trying to fix anything. As we do that, we open the door for our Spiritual Support Team to guide us through solutions and answers that will make real change possible in our lives.

When you turn over your worries, and their attendant need to fix and control, to God, asking Spirit to be an active participant in your life, you may discover something wonderful.

You can relax. You may feel creative energy flowing and creative ideas popping into your mind. You may find that smiles and laughter come easily and naturally. Humor bubbles up spontaneously. You feel appreciative, grateful and loving.

All this from making a simple request  and a little change of perspective.

A Different Choice Prayer

"Dear God, I turn this whole situation over to you. I ask that my angels and masters, my Spiritual Support Team, guide me to inner peace. I ask that you make clear to me what it is that I need to be, do and have for resolution of this situation. Show me how to release the struggle and follow where my heart leads. With deepest gratitude, Amen."

Once we turn the situation over to God, our job is to listen for the gentle prodding of our hearts and focus upon what feeds our joy.

We can rest assured that God is taking care of whatever the situation is that has been causing us pain.

Anytime worry or painful thoughts of the situation come up, let go of trying to fix it by mentally handing it all over to God. Then refocus on your job -  following where your heart leads.

Use this prayer any time you feel negativity or emotional discomfort coming up. Repeat it over and over if you need to. You do this not because God needs to hear it again, but because it is a good reminder to you to let go of trying to fix things. Remember, you're turning it all over to God.

If you can't remember the prayer, use a quick affirmation like, "I give this situation over to God." Then take a deep breath and relax, God's got this.

Use this for any aspect of your life that is bothering you, no matter  how small. Spirit is concerned and involved with the tiniest details of our lives.

Turn it all over to God and allow Spirit to be actively engaged in every day of your life.

Trust that guidance will come. You’ll hear a song that gives you a positive direction to move in. Just the right book will come to you. Opportunities and solutions will present themselves in ways you might not have imagined. All you have to do is ask.

Making Space for Your Dreams

“Every aspect of your life is anchored energetically in your living space.”
Karen Kingston, Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui

I look around as I sit in the chair in my writing office to start today’s writing and am struck by how I have made space in my life for my dreams. My vision board hangs upon the wall. Each day I print out my writing efforts so that I can hold the reality of my dream in my hands. It’s taken me many years to allow myself this. Hopefully, it won’t take you so long.

Feng Shui, the art of designing one’s house, room, car, even desk, for optimal energy flow, teaches us that what we create in our homes is what we will create in our lives. If there is no space in your home for your dreams, how will you create space in your life for your dreams?

Giving yourself daily reminders in the physical form of an inviting creation space and a beautiful vision board keep your goals in the forefront of your conscious and subconscious mind.

Seeing these you are more likely to be attracted to taking regular action steps toward your dreams. Perhaps prayer and affirmations keeping your mind focused upon where you want to go.

Day by day, step by step, doing your part to create your dream.

Giving yourself a dedicated physical space communicates to your subconscious mind that you mean it, you intend to manifest your dreams.

As you create the physical space in your home in which to anchor your dreams you create the energetic space  for your dreams to become your life.

Your Spiritual Toolbox

Create space in your home for your dreams even if it is just a corner of a room.

This is your space. Clear it of clutter. Place here only what relates to manifesting your dreams.

Hang your vision board here.

Make your space beautiful and attractive with curtains, pillows, a vase of flowers, anything that gives you a relaxed, expanded feeling as you gaze upon it.

Give your space a sacred feel if that feels right to you, with candles, crystals, statuettes and art.

Now ask your Higher Self, your Guides and Masters to bless your space and fill it with their love, for they are your partners in manifesting your dreams.

Create a Vision Board

“Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.”
Napoleon Hill

I stand back to admire the work of art that is my vision board. Well, it isn’t a work of art yet, it is still just a silhouette of a tree, fake money, and a collection of words printed out and stuck on my magnet board. It will be much more.

A vision board is a physical way of imagining what you intend. It is a creative, flowing, fun and inspiring activity. The result is your dreams made visible in whatever way inspires you.

Your vision board can be an effective tool for visualizing your specific and on-going goals within the areas of manifestation you are currently creating, and keeping these at the forefront of your mind.

My vision board is exciting to me, even unfinished.

I’m using magnet boards that I bought at Ikea, because my goals will be developing and changing as I go along. I want to be able to change pictures and words easily as I manifest my goals and create new goals.

I have written out my intentions in the form of prayer and positive affirmations. Each morning, I will look at my vision board and read my intentions out loud supported by Huna deep breathing. This combination keeps my conscious mind focused and my subconscious mind on board, giving energy to my Higher Self for manifestation.

Looking with pleasure at what is becoming a chaos of colors and shapes filling in the tree branches, I know each goal is attainable. I don’t know how some of it will manifest, but I know that  it will. I know this because I trust my Higher Self to create for me that which I intend or something even better.

I don’t tell my Higher Self how to do this. Happily, that’s not my job. My job is to set the intention and hold the focus, keeping my subconscious on board with my new goals.

We’re moving in exciting new directions here!

Your Spiritual Toolbox

A vision board is a form of prayer made visible for your eyes to perceive and your subconscious mind to grasp hold of. The subconscious mind believes in visible images and the written word. Let’s give your subconscious mind something to believe in!

You will need to use your goal affirmations. If you have not created these yet go to the posts Allow Your Dreams to dream up your intentions and Ready, Set, Goal! to create affirmations based on your goals.

Using your affirmations, research images and words that strongly elicit the feeling of your intentions.

Feeling is essential here.

Emotion is the language of the subconscious mind. When you look at the words and pictures on your vision board you want to experience the excitement, the anticipation, the joy of what those pictures and words represent.

Print out the pictures and words.

You can also add in any 3-D items you feel support your intentions. This could be anything that speaks to you, perhaps a shell if your intention is to travel to a sandy beach in Hawaii, or a figurine representing spiritual support, or a picture of you doing what you intend.

The possibilities are limited only by your imagination, as you focus on what feels great to you.

Now take everything you’ve collected and play with it. Tape or use magnets to stick flat items to the wall or magnet board. Bulletin boards and thumbtacks work well too.

Arrange any standing items in front. Play with everything to your heart’s content. Allow yourself to enjoy the creative process.

You want to love looking at it, so make it as attractive as possible.

Have fun with this!
